  16. In trying to use my Zip drive on my wife's A4000 with the DataFlyer 4000SX,
  17. we also had problems.  (And we'll toss this POS DataFlyer in the trash once
  18. we find a proper replacement that correctly supports RDBs, autobooting,
  19. etc..)

  21. The only way we finally got it to work was to use RDPrep to partition and
  22. install a RDB on the Zip disks and then use SCSIMounter to mount them.

  24. The crap DataFlyer software was of no use and as you discovered, using
  25. HDToolbox with the DataFlyer didn't work.

  34. Unless you put a RDB on the disk, it doesn't have one.  Mounting it with a
  35. mountlist doesn't do this.  Use RDPrep to put a RDB on each Zip disk and
  36. then you can use SCSIMounter.

  41. when I want to backup to a Zip.
